SponsorForMe.com is a sugar daddy dating site catered toward men who are willing to offer up some kind of support to their matches, and women who want to receive it. As you can probably imagine, this “support” is almost exclusively monetary, the men are most often older and rich and the women are young and beautiful. SponsorForMe, however, is very careful about how it describes the arrangements it encourages. The site defines as sponsor as anyone who “can help someone with their bills, or give other kind of support… You do not have to be a millionaire to be generous.” They also make sure to clearly define the difference between the terms “Sugar Daddy” and “Sponsor.” They define the latter as anyone willing to offer up some kind of support, stating that “You don’t have to be a rich old man to be a Sponsor. You do need to be able and willing to give some kind of support. This can be monetary, emotional, or both.” Obviously these descriptions are merely attempts to mask the true nature of the site’s members, which are almost certainly older sugar daddies setting up arrangements with younger women.
In order to join SponsorForMe, you must first pass a fairly rigorous approval process. Apparently this can take several days, while the site’s administrators examine your profile information and photos. Female members can actually get paid to join the site as long as they follow certain guidelines. Male members, meanwhile, have to pay to start talking to the women on the site. In other words, female members can get paid to be paid while male members pay to pay more. The whole thing really just seems like a shady operation that uses misleadingly ambiguous terminology to encourage members that it is a worthwhile and legitimate site. In the “About Us” section it states that “SponsorForMe.com prohibits its members from offering money in exchange for sex,” though they are quick to follow that up with “SponsorForMe.com can’t control communications between members off site, but any communications on the site related to the exchange of sex for money will result in cancellation of membership and banning from the site.” The whole site seems to be built around bizarrely suggestive phrasing.

The Good
The best thing about SponsorForMe I found is that it intermittently seems to run campaigns that help sponsor breast cancer research. Most recently, the site donated 10% of its membership fees to such a campaign. However, this seems to be one of the site’s very few redeeming factors.
The Bad
This site has a lot of rules and a lot of strange wording and terminology. As a result, the whole operation comes off as a little bit shady, trying to situate itself in some kind of dating site grey area. Your profile has to be set up in a very specific way, and if it does not meet the proper standard, it will not pass the approval process. The process itself can take a few days, so a lot of a patience is also required for this site. You’re better off not wasting your time.
Pricing
As mentioned, the site is free for women and even pays sometimes, but for men there is a credit system that needs to be purchased if you want to get full access to the site’s features and speak to potential “sponsees.” In short, you have to pay to pay.
Conclusion
Through the use of misleading phrasing. this site claims to be for anyone. Yet it is clear that this is not the case. This is a site targeted toward rich older men looking to make arrangements with younger women. SponsorForMe may try and use ambiguous wording to make the site seem more legitimate, but they aren’t really fooling anyone. The men on the site are definitely not poor, and the women are definitely not looking for “emotional” support. As far as guys go, unless you’re rich, old and bored, you’re likely better off checking out some of the other dating sites we’ve reviewed.
