Alt.com is flashy, fun, and dirty. It’s a niche dating site for those who are into BDSM. Alt.com is one of the oldest and most reliable adult dating sites on the BDSM scene and it boasts a good number of members. If BDSM is your thing, Alt.com definitely a site to check out!

Features

When we first sign on, we were greeted by our “new matches”, which is a nice feature for seeing newbies in your area that are a good match for you that you can hookup with. It’s also exciting to know that we will show up on this list on other members’ accounts! Past that, you can navigate to your profile, search (online now, VIP members, or advanced search), what’s hot (hottest videos, hottest photos, hottest members, and adult movies), live action (IM and chat rooms), or community (store, blogs, etc.). Clicking on some of these areas will bring you to the upgrade page. If that happens, it means it is an advanced area or feature that is reserved for Silver or Gold members. We will talk more about that below.

They also have a points program in which you are “rewarded with points for doing certain activities” on the site. There is a page where all these activities are listed along with how many points the action will be worth. You can redeem these points for a number of things, including: Membership subscriptions, virtual flowers, a featured profile, or an Alt.com t-shirt! That last one seems kinda silly, but oh well!

The Good

Alt.com has something not every adult dating site has: a specialty. On this site you will only find other members who are into BDSM, so you won’t have to sort through a bunch of members who aren’t into the same thing as you. I found this site incredibly easy to use and understand. I received lots of messages from other local members and was able to meet up with several people. On top of that, you can see all the great features they have for upgraded accounts in the section above. The bottom line, really, is that you will get laid and you will find people who are into BDSM, just like you.

 The Bad

The only bad thing about Alt.com is if you have a basic account you can’t do very much. But again, this is true of almost any good, legit adult dating site (especially a niche one!) so it’s not really a hit on Alt.com.

Conclusion
